The Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is the principal authority driving the sustainable growth of the emirate's culture and tourism sectors. Working across its three sectors, Tourism, Culture and the National Library, it regulates, develops and promotes Abu Dhabi as a destination while preserving and presenting its heritage. Its Tourism Strategy 2030 targets 39.3 million annual visitors, an AED 90 billion tourism contribution to GDP and 178,000 new jobs by 2030. DCT Abu Dhabi delivers alongside the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025 to 2027, the emirate wide programme committing Abu Dhabi to becoming the world's first fully AI native government across all digital services by 2027.
